So we've been here twice in the last month and have loved it. I first came here as a recommendation to try their impossible burger, but then I realized they had a Vegan Reuben and I had to try that first. It was so good, and the bread was perfectly toasted and everything. The next time I came and got the Impossible burger and of course they didn't disappoint. The staff are so welcoming and patient and they make you want to come back for the atmosphere and not just the food. And then the carrot cake....it lasted on the table for maybe a minute lol. It was moist and light and delicious. Definitely, check them out because it's great food. It comes to you timely and it's nice being around nice people who really care
We enjoyed a delicious pastrami sandwich! We got fries on the side, I will admit, it was a smaller portion than I expected. But they were delicious and we definitely look forward to retuning!
The food is great! They offer both breakfast and lunch. The portions are very generous. You will not walk away from here hungry. I've been here several times, and the service has always been fantastic!
We came here looking for matzo ball soup and found the best. My husband actually bought a quart to take home. It was that good. I had the turkey wrap and the spinach pie they were both outstanding. We will be back again when we are in the area
I had the most amazing breakfast at the stateside deli! Let me tell you, I ordered the happy hash with basted eggs, and it was absolutely delicious. And those sausage links Oh my goodness, they were incredibly tasty. To top it off, the toast was so good, it practically screamed "holla!" The service was exceptional - fast and friendly. I never had to worry about my coffee running low because it was always topped up. And let me tell you about the kitchen staff - they were incredibly nice. I felt so welcomed and taken care of. I'm definitely coming back to the stateside deli the next time I find myself in Okemos and in need of a good meal.
This was my first time at Stateside Deli, and it was amazing. We got our food super fast, and the portion sizes were huge. I got the chicken Caesar salad wrap, and it was filled up!! Definitely will be going back. New favorite brunch spot!
I got the chicken gyro and an Italian to go. They were super nice and put everything on the side for my to go since I had an hour drive home. Food was amazing and Duncan was a great server!
